Jonathan has been an instructor since 2004 teaching both fitness and Hapkido classes. He is a certified Fitness Specialist and has earned an Associate’s degree in Exercise Science and Wellness. Jonathan’s journey started when he was 5 years old and began training in martial arts under his father Gary. Through the years, he strived to be more and improve on his physical and mental skills. As he got older he thirsted to pass on his knowledge through teaching. In this he learned his passion for helping others to overcome their obstacles and change their lives. Teaching both group and personal classes Jonathan has dedicated his life to helping others achieve their goals and become the best version of themselves.

Kelly joined the staff as an instructor at Family Martial Arts and Fitness in 2013. She has an Associate Degree's in Legal Studies from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont and is a certified Personal Trainer through American College of Sports Medicine. Kelly's passion for fitness started in 2010 when she began her own weight loss journey successfully losing over 25 pounds. After her weight loss, Kelly decided to pursue a personal training certificate with the intention of helping others on their own weight loss journey. Kelly also owns and operates, Fit Impressions, LLC, a personal in home training business based in Cheshire, CT. Kelly's most recently expanded her interests to include competing in area fitness competitions and the pursuit of a professional nutrition certification.

Michelle has a passion for living a physically active lifestyle and believes that a healthy body will greatly improve any individual’s quality of life. Her goal is to inspire and educate you with the necessary tools you'll need to make a permanent and positive lifestyle change. Michelle will provide the accountability and knowledge you need to be successful on your journey. Encouraging clients through coaching, she believes in keeping the workouts varied to continue to see positive changes and also keep the workouts fun.

Brenda has been teaching pilates since 2006. She received her certification through the Stott Pilates instructor training program. Brenda teaches pilates mat, reformer and barre. Brenda spent 10 years polishing her teaching skills at Cheshire Pilates Studio. She has taught at many local facilities including pilates studios, Senior Centers, Park and Rec programs and under the guidance of a local physical therapist. Over the years she has attended many different workshops to enhance her teaching skills and broaden her knowledge of pilates.
